As
the old saying goes, that's the way
the cookie crumbles, babe! Yeah, especially in 'apna' Bollywood where
today's superstar may be worth little tomorrow. Hrithik
Roshan's new-found fame must have sent jitters down some of Bollywood's
reigning stars, especially current number one (or is it past tense already)
Shah Rukh Khan. Insiders say the energetic
Khan has come up with a move that may put him on top again. He has agreed
to play a supporting role to Hrithik Roshan in Subhash
Ghai's Yaadein. The grapevine has
it that this decision is a shrewd move on Shah Rukh's part. Either, he
will either put in a fantastic performance, which will then overshadow
heartthrob Hrithik (remember how Anil Kapoor
stole the thunder from 'hero' Akshaye Khanna
in Taal?). Or, if the light-eyed young man
proves to be tough nut to crack, Shah Rukh will do a lousy job that would
make the film flop and send Hrithik spiraling down. Seems like a far-fetched
idea to us, but this is a funny business to be in! |
